    Al Berman and Anthony Pizzitola co-authored IFMA's spotlight article in the January/February 2012 FMJ: "Sustaining Your Business After a Disaster." They will show how increased knowledge and active participation in the disaster preparedness and recovery will enhance smarter facility management for smarter business decisions and overall resilience of organizations. They will explain the origins of Public Law 110-53 Private Sector Preparedness (PS-Prep) and how it sustains facilities for smarter facility management. In addition, they will explain the importance of supply chains complying with PS-Prep for on-time deliveries of goods and services during disasters. The final learning objective will be how to use their increased smarter facilities knowledge and practices to gain a seat in the board room.
